Purchased at a garage sale for $3, this is the most complicated clock movement I’ve worked on thus far.  It uses 3 gear trains, for the clock, chime, and Westminster chime.


To make this clock function again I had to clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner and lubricate with both clock oil and clock grease in locations specified by the service manual.  Photos are shown below so that it might help you to re-assemble your Hermle.

The most difficult task was to put the clock back together, it was a 3D puzzle with numerous moving parts.
