Photos showing the restoration and then modification (hacking) process to repair the Olympic Model 6-606 to its original specifications, then, modify it so that an Ipod can be played through its original audio circuitry.  Effort was made to save as much of the OEM components as possible.  A replacement A/B battery pack was fabricated so that readily available 9V and size C batteries could be used to power the radio in battery mode.

This project allows the vintage tube sound fed with an Ipod (or any audio source) to be brought anywhere!
