S-Band UWB Range-Gated FMCW Radar Sensor
This radar sensor was developed to prove the concept of an analog range gate filter applied at an intermediate frequency. Targets that fall within the range gate filter pass and are strong as expected. Targets outside of this filter are greatly attenuated. This radar architecture is valuable for through-wall imaging or imaging in high clutter environments where low peak-power/long duration waveforms are desired.
